Tracient has taken the key features of our RFID readers and turned them into modules for OEM integrators. Developers can now add value to our module to create specific products with a variety of communications interfaces or integrate the module into their own product to add RFID capability. In addition, Tracient’s Professional Services Team can provide the engineering expertise to create your solution for you.
Tracient is unique in offering fully featured modules that will let you build a wireless portable RFID reader with virtually no extra work. Unlike other modules on the market we focus on solutions for mobile enterprise applications and that means wireless, modular and portable.
HF Reader Module
Our 13.56 MHz reader module packs a lot into a small 40 x 35 mm space ( about 1.5” by 1.35”). Our modules come with or without a Bluetooth interface and are easily stacked up using a built in I2C interface. We also provide an optional antenna to help you with prototyping, however the 50 ohm interface makes it easy to match your own. A single power input allows you to run the whole device off batteries.

- Designed for handheld, portable or wireless use
- Single voltage input
- Multi-protocol compatible with ISO14443, ISO15693, ISO18000-3M1, Tag-IT™, I-Code™ and Mifare™ tags
- Read range of about 4” (10cm) when used with a suitable antenna
- Class 2 Bluetooth interface range of approximately 10m (module can be supplied with or without Bluetooth)
