Description
Students will cover the CompTIA RFID+ Certification Curriculum. Participants will acquire knowledge through exam preparation exercises and engaging classroom discussions that prepare them for the CompTIA RFID+ certification exam.
We will cover the material leading to CompTIA RFID+ certification:
• RFID+ CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum.
• RFID+ certification practice exams.
• Exam application demonstrations and training.
Our instructors, all of which are themselves CompTIA RFID+ Certified Professionals, are practitioners who specialize in the RFID field. Academia’s RFID+ CCC course will focus on CompTIA's RFID+ certification exacting requirements. Complete coverage of exam content and instructional material will help candidates judge their learning and readiness for the certification exam.

• Building blocks of the RFID system: tags, interrogators, software and peripherals.
• Understanding of RFID engineering physics, standards, regulations.
• Designing and evaluating the RFID network:
o Analysis of internal and external variables:
Read distance, write distance, tag response time, and storage capacity.
Middleware considerations.
o Conducting a site survey:
Critical success factors.
Key elements of onsite inspections.
o Best practices for installation.
o Testing, optimizing system performance and troubleshooting.
• Configuration of interrogation zones:
o How to select tags and their optimum placement.
Prerequisites
1- Knowledge of Basic RF physics, Basic RFID terminology and Market awareness.
2- Two years RFID experience or Academia’s 3 day RFID PRO – PROfessional RFID Certification.
